The official Thread is just a few mouse paces away and posting there might yield more results.
However, it seems to me that the game was either not properly patched (happened to me once too; the same error message) something else went buggy. A reinstall helped in my case. Only after a correct patching, will the files be the correct size as expected by the TDW patcher.
