I don't recall honestly I remember reading it in the base paper. This was in Heidelberg the Army base. I think one kid was under age and the other an adult. I was doing short deployments to Turkey at the time so the outcome must have been posted in a paper I didn't read. No idea what the German judicial system is like on that level. I assume the younger got third version of juvie. The adult probably a few years.

So what's your favorite meal at truck stops?

Mine was breakfast for sure three scrambled eggs (softly) with cheddar cheese hash browns or country fries all biscuits aren't the same so I like sourdough toast and jam out of a jar not those little plastic things.

Coffee and juice and leave a nice tip if I'm coming back that way again.

Are the truck stops you travel safe?
Do they feel safe? Do you get propositioned?
Any shady people thumping your tires?

favourite meal is 2 poached eggs soft, side bacon, OJ, Coffee, grits (when I can get them) and biscuits.
Truck stops here are safe.
We have our share of lizards.
Nobody screws with my truck, but I do keep it locked at all times.
Some trucks have been stolen, but I think they were at the shippers/receivers when they got scooped.

The cops were surrounding a Freightliner at a TS I frequent. I wandered over to take a gander and saw the drivers door had been pried open with a crowbar. I told the cop that whomever did the deed didn't know what he was doing. The cop asked why I would say such a thing and I told him that the person could have pounded in the little window on the passenger side of the truck and just reached up and unlocked the passenger door and crawled across the seats.

Ah yes lot lizards they can be highly annoying even if you put up a no solicitation sign they'll still try.

Had a friend tell me every summer his wife who was a school teacher would ride with him. Once while they where stopped in Denver they had a lizard come knocking. So my buddy said not interested the lizard kept persisting finally his wife said I'm his wife he dose not need company. The lizard I recon being the business savy type then offered to take part in a three way.

There are some stops I'd not stay at to be honest. Lucky for myself running mostly regional flatbed I can simply stay at a customers lot for the night in most cases. And I know some double secret probation locations where I can park.

The pickle park at the top of Jelico hill on I75 both ways comes to mind. As well as the TA (I think it is a TA) on I75 at the bottom of MI.
