I've had this trouble with Nvidia cards as well. Solution was to switch the refresh rate manually from 59 Hz (default) to exactly 60 Hz. Not 61 or 62 Hz. Not sure why you may want that?
![]() Another try: The Intro videos in: \data\movies\intro --- Create two files called "Intro.wmv" and "Logo.wmv" with Notepad and replace the original ones with those. Make sure they are .wmv and not .txt files. They will have ZERO bytes. Another try: Install DirectX 9 Vers. 9.29. It does not harm anything else, but may be the cause of your trouble. I always install that. This display changer could be helpful: Here

How did you make out with the Direct X9.0c thing?
Saw over at UBI something similar to what danasan mentioned ![]() |

@danasan
Configured my refresh to 60Hz as you suggested and installed DX9 v2.29 and all is well with the world. Can't thank you enough ![]() @RDP Can't say whether it was the refresh rate or DX9 that ended my problems, all I know is this, and perhaps this is of interest to you both. I used the 60Hz refresh @1920x1200 and SH3 started fine. I then installed the Keygets res fix and I immediately got a crash with d3d9.dll fault. I then removed the res fix installed DX9 v2.29 and reinstalled Keygets resfix set the d3d9.conf and voilla. High res again ( yes I know it's a tad stretched but I can live with that) ![]() ![]() Thank you both very much for your input, you made an old lag very happy ![]() ![]() Best regards. Fubar2Niner |
