The amount I've spent on Rocky McBee's vet bills, I could have a whole legion of Bostons.

Do Boxers and Bostons have more vet bills than the average dog? I was hoping to maybe someday have one for a pal. Seems like boxers don't live so long either from friends experiences.

The solution for goldfish or koi is to have a pond in FL that a blue heron can raid. Darn bird killed all my goldfish, and a nice size koi. The koi he just killed because he couldn't even carry it off. If you want fish for pets raise Tilapia, some purina and a filter cleaning once a month and they're good to go.

@em2nought

Can't answer for Bostons, never owned one. Boxers all I can say is be prepared....... Potential heart, kidney and cancer problems ( the thyroid was a new one on me ). Hopefully I should get around twelve years from my lad, according to my vet, possibly more if I'm lucky. Boxers are great fun but tons of work, they still think they are puppies till around 5yrs of age. So like I say, be prepared!

Best regards.
