Yeah, what's up with the Lions? That's two weeks in a row that a Lion has stomped on somebody! They should suspend the two of them for the play-offs, or the coaches of putting up with this BS.

I understand Suh has been suspended for the next game which will probably be the rest of the season for the Lions.

His suspension was reversed.
Before anyone starts yelling about it - take the time to watch the WIDE ANGLE shot. TV basically focused purely on his legs - but if you watch the wide angle shot you can see that Suh was off balance, continued to be when his first step partially stepped on Rogers, causing him to take another step back to retain his balance. He didn't even look down to see who it was (it could have been a teammate) until he stepped forward. Also - there was no grinding of the foot, no sideways motion or anything that would indicate he wanted and intended to cause harm. Yes - he has a bad reputation - but if you look at the whole picture and not just the zoomed in portion, it is a different picture entirely. Yes - he could have stopped and said "sorry" or whatever, or helped Rogers up to show remorse, but bad sportsmanship isn't a reason to suspend a player. And I don't even like the guy. Personally - I would have preferred to see him ejected from the league years ago after the goal line stomp. One last note - while I disagree with it - the rules the NFL has to operate under (per their union agreement) meant that Suh was regarded as a "first time offender" and as such - the fine was the proper punishment.

Tom Terrific has always been about more than just the money. Many teams have one or two big name guys that will restructure to help out the team. Steve Smith was one of Carolina's guys that did that nearly every year. Our two headed monster at RB did it twice I think.
Still, its always good to see when a player shows that they are willing to do something for the team. Not always does it also help them - but Tom has always been a pretty high character guy compared to many. Now as long as the Patriots lose before my Panthers have to play them in the NFC finals....... Yes - I know - but a man can dream, right?

I am not being a homer when I say Panthers should beat the Cards. Arizona is set to play Lindley for goodness sake. I don't see their O-line keeping him upright and unpressured. Carolina finally seems to have "gotten it together" over the last 4 weeks. Panthers advance this week.
No one really can "trust" Andy Dalton in the playoffs - but Indy's offense has had the wheels fall off here lately. Add in that the Cincy defense has played well overall lately, I expect the Bengals come out ahead of the Colts on this one. The next one hurts me. I really want Steve Smith to get a Super Bowl ring, but I don't think this is the year he succeeds. The Ravens just haven't been stout enough on D or O this year, and I think Ben (ugh) is playing well right now. The Steelers D has weakened as well, but I don't think the Ravens can keep up on the scoreboard. Ravens fall to the Steelers in a game that might not even be close. Romo vs Suh.... Well, not really. The Lions have been a top defense all year, but they didn't show it last week. The Cowboys have been playing consistent and well the last few weeks. I don't have faith in Stafford, and Romo has staked the demons of December in the purifying light of sunshine and wins late in the season. Cowboys are going to win this one, though it may be too close for comfort for many of their fans.
