I'm a father and i manage restaurants.
There were times where i couldn't be home due to working odd-ball hours and missing out on those 'special' moments with my partner and my kids.

I came to thankfully understand early on in my career that making time for your family, and in particular your children is way more important than your job.
Jobs come and go.

Kids (family) you only get 1 chance at it.
