The updates on task forces don't really include course or speed iirc, they have a certain behaviour and the best our code breakers can do is tell you an approximate location at a certain time and where they are headed.

As for your framerate issue, SH4 is pretty consistent on frames, so either you spawned next to a gigantic task force, your PC was running a virus scan or updating without your knowledge, or something of that nature

As for the crush issue, I haven't experienced that before. Are you using any mods that modify your sub files?

Only mod I was running was RFB 2.0. Am I correct in understanding that RFB modified the file with task force information to make it more historically accurate? My framerate issue was fixed when I uninstalled RFB and switched to TMO. I double checked all scans, defragged, ran Ccleaner, and even went as far as closing all irrelevant processes. My computer has plenty of RAM, and hard drive space to run SH4 on max settings so I was stumped. The only thing I could conclude was that something in my RFB mod file was causing the issues.

I don't think RFB touches the campaign layers. RSRDC is usually the go-to supplement for that. But, I'm not dismissing the chance that a file was corrupted. Maybe try re downloading the RFB mod and the patches that are needed. That may increase your stability and framerate.

I'll have to try that then.
