Nice story coming from the Bengals. They resigned a guy they cut so he could keep his health insurance, his young daughter has cancer. This way he could afford her cancer treatments! Classy move by the Bengals!

There's only one thing worse than the Saints losing to the Falcons...

...Losing to the Cowboys. At least San Fran kept the day from being totally miserable.

Well, Mr. Tough guy Ray Rice has been cut by the Ravens and suspended indefinitely by the NFL after a video showed up of Ray punching his wife in the face on an elevator. What a low life!!

Wait... what? You mean there's football happening?

The idiot wife beater even got a mention on our news down here. Major campaigns over the last few years in our football codes having players, clubs and the leagues speaking out against violence against women and homophobia etc. There was a bit of wonder here that the NFL hadn't kicked this goon to the kerb.

When I would cut the cake, and the piece was huge, so that the others got a much smaller portion.

Adrian Peterson comes to mind, lol But no decision by the NFL as to what they are going to do to him. Even if he had played Sunday, wouldn't have changed a thing against the Patriots.

I just found out that the NFL is tax exempt some congress lady is trying to take way their tax exempt status.

But this is the real shocker Roger Goodell: http://kdvr.com/2014/09/13/nfl-commi...an-any-player/

Quote:
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell earned more than $100 million over the course of five years — more than any of the league’s star players.
Goodell, who is facing pressure to resign in the face of the Ray Rice domestic abuse scandal, earned a whopping $44.2 million for the 2012 season, the most recent to be reported by the NFL. That was up 50% from 2011.
The only player who came close to earning that kind of money was Drew Brees, who pulled down $40 million in salary and signing bonus that same year,
