No, sir. You are not the only one who enjoys a stride through the sub at times. It is a pity they haven't put more into the dialogues. Not all crew discussions need to impact the game.
I even bought wi-fi headphones so I can go about my house and still listen for alerts from the bridge. I don't have the time to play much any more. These days I am enjoying a bigger experience. I'm playing out the whole war using board games that I have collected. While that takes time too, most of it is done with spreadsheet and data files and, of course, maps. I'm playing solitaire, so don't need a set up. My war is currently in July 1940 with fighting going on in Norway, Holland, and France has actually invaded Germany. I guess that's nerdy and geek too.
