If you are suicidal, or a daring chap, you could try raiding any of the major British or Allied Naval Ports for some large warships. Gibraltar, Alexandria etc. You might just get lucky and come home to a Ritterkreuz, or you might just meet your maker.

I've been to Gibraltar. It's not that dangerous. On the other hand, there wasn't much to see. The other bases are substantially harder.

Since it is Stock SH3 ( I see no mention of campaign mods) two words: mission editor. Because I either forgot how it was, or never played it that much. Went over pretty soon to GWX. (which campaign is totally different)
