In-game ammo choices - if any - depend on what - if anything - you changed in the files.
These are the stock SH3 default values. You get 3 types of ammo and can change in-game from one to another. You can always change the types and quantities, but the total shells can not exceed the Max ammo per slot value in the other file (see my original post in this thread). ;AP=40 ;HE=160 ;SS=40 These are the default values in GWX. You get only HE ammo so there is nothing else available. Again, you can change the quantities - same caveat as above. AP=0 HE=250 SS=0

Just like real life back then. Sometimes they didn't get credit for sinking something that they knew they did sink. A real realistic sim ain't it?

Strange with the Type IX deck gun in GWX I only get 106 or so rounds HE.
