Oh -My - God!!!

Ok, you got a really *big* problem there hope someone could help you (I do not have SH5).

EDIT: out of curiosity why the date in the first two screen shots are 21 April 2010?

If this is happens every time when you enter your boat (from port save) then you will need to go back to another save as this ship error will only be in your port save game.

that's just the frame rate counter, for some reason it's locked to that date and time.

That freighter was previously blocking the exit to the dock but I managed to submerge and go under it and get out on my patrol. Well I did on my second attempt, first attempt it started cart-wheeling and crushed my boat. When I got back a week or 2 later I was hoping it had moved... and it had.

Can't upload any more pics, exceeded quota.

Thanks for the reply Trev, I had saved on entering the port before ending the patrol. When I go back to that save the ship is on top of the bunker. I've been having problems since arriving in Lorient with various ships blocking the exits and cart-wheeling around the port, similar to Kiel but Kiel's big so it doesn't really matter. For some reason didn't have these problems at Wilmshaven.

I could go back to a save before getting posted to Lorient but I can't be sure it won't just happen again and I don't have the patience to keep going back and re-doing patrols I've already completed, had enough of that at the beginning of the game. So thanks to all for all the hard work but I'm off.

Hummm...

If only we could open the save file with an appropriate tool, find the data about that ship and edit the coordinates of its location in the 3D world with some more appropriate values to place her on the sea instead of on the roof... or potentially erase her completly from existence!
