Could this be an ID clash? If an item has the same ID number as something else it can cause CTD but S3D has a function where you can renumber the IDs. It might be as simple as the import of the two anchors if they use the same IDs - try importing one and see whether it solves the problem. ID clashes almost broke me when I was creating USAM, to the point where I used S3D to renumber every one of the 69 ships and aircraft to get rid of any clashes.

Thank you very much for your instructive reply. The problem didn't come from the ID, because the game didn't crash before my modifications with Wings 3D. But you gave me an idea... There was maybe several objects with the same ID or something like that... I opened Wings 3D and imported the Hood's 3D model. By selecting the whole object, I've noticed that the 2 additional anchors were not selected. So, I combined them to the ship !
