Ok I'll pick up Anze at Stanstead at 0930 and should be in Ipswich around 1030 to 1100 depending on traffic.

That should see us in York by 1600 at the latest including a pit stop for lunch.

How does that sound? If I'm running late I'll call to let you know.

I'll just have to check the train timetable how close to 9:30 it arrives in Stansted.

Let's just say roughly 9:30 and a pub as a rally point so waiting will be easier

Just looking at the map if you catch a train to Chelmsford instead I can pick you up there without backtracking to Ipswich. Let me know what you think.

Checked the rail connections you can get a train from Liverpool St Station at 0830 gets you to Chelsmford at 0911: http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/servic...30714/0830/dep

Where are you travelling from? I accidentally found Liverpool Street station once whilst trying to get from one side of Bank station to the other. Thank God that Bank is back to normal now, you had to go out of it and turn left to get to the other part of the station, so naturally I turned right...

Then, of course there's the time I got off the train one station too early, and only just managed to throw myself (with the wife following close behind) back through the doors as they were closing.

So, I might end up in Ipswich, or I might end up in Truro, it's a 50/50 chance really.

EDIT: Oh, and it's Liverpool Street station, not Liverpool station...because that's about two hundred miles to the north-west...

Havent booked yet. A B$B near Liverpool st. Station probably. I wont go sightseeing in London so I wont be staying in the center.

I'm planning on being in the pub next door to the hotel 'Old Grey Mare' by noon at the latest so the chances are I'll be sleeping the drink off by the time you lot arrive....I'll probably meet up with you all at breafast on Monday morning.

I said at the latest. It's a 4ish hour drive to York from Ipswhich so If were out of there by 10:30 and don't stop (must look into getting some astronaut nappies), we can get there by 14:30ish at the earliest. If we stop for lunch and a wee, add an hour. If there's traffic or roadworks add who knows how long.

I'm all packed and ready to go so just gotta set the alarm for stupid o'clock so I can get up get the girls ready and head to the airport.
