Aye, the memories...first morning in the US we were first up so we took a nearby metro into Houston but couldn't find a bar that was open so we simply walked until we found one that was...The Flying Saucer IIRC, it had NBA on draught and was absolutely awful which proves only bottled beers usually travel the world and maintain their original taste.

Gave you a taste of Coopers Sparkling Ale which you weren't keen on either then we settled on bottled Paulaner IIRC.
