How to restore DD's of Travaller's Mod?

Hi!

Dunno if you people have noticed, but with traveller mod, many DD's, and subchasers are missing their stern DC racks.........is this normal??

How could I restore them? Because it's not challenging to fight DDs or subchaser if they can't throw you ash cans!!

Re-download/Re-install a fresh copy of SH4 then re-add your mods. I had a few problems myself with Traveller's but I fixed it by modding a fresh install of SH4.

does that mean I have to start a new career? Did you have the same problem? Missing depth charges in IJN DDs??

Not exactly like yours but other problems more serious stuff like my game crashes everytime I go to bridge view, the knotmeters and the depth meters are just white square textures etc.

All of these despite the mod-order being correct, fixed it by installing a fresh copy. And yes, I think you're going to have to restart career.

If you do decide to re-install the game then try this for me will you? Don't delete your saved career, try to go back to your home port in-game, save it. Delete your SH4 but not your save file. Re-install the game, add your mods. See if you can still play your career. If you can, without that depth charge problems and others then that's good. If it doesn't work then most likely you're going to have to start a new career.

if you use JSGME you find the mod in activated then click and deactivated it start a new campaign/patrol

I use Traveller mods all the time and I have never noticed any vessel missing Depth Charge racks ... but sometimes I wish they were.

What is your mod order? I don't pay attention much anymore to the game, but last I recall trav had a mod for TMO 1.5 and OM.

in that order............several other mods which do not modify in anyway DDs weapons configuration...nor their AI

I just played a single mission......a supply run to kiska......it was a DD which has (originally) one lateral DD rack (none in my single patrol), and 2 DC launchers (forgot the technical name)....... I was testing the AI skills, he can spot me, threw couple of lateral DC, he missed. after that, he was just turning around me........ just went up to periscope depth.....and nothing...... he could have followed me up to Midway without sinking me....... what's wrong??

I've been patroling for a 1 year career....with dummied DDs........... I really thought I was a good captain! -.- grr

Any clue somebody??

so you don't have any missing DC racks in any vessel?? I guess I will give it a try...

I did everything, reinstalling all the game, (fresh install) , modding again the game, and still the same. Some DD's are missing their lateral rack. I tested it only with TMO, RSRD and its patch, and Traveller mod (only those) and still happens........ any idea? Somebody??

Did you start a new campaign or re-played your old one? If you haven't, try making a new campaign.

In case that doesn't work too, try this mod setup.
I'm running these in order:
TMO
RSRDC for TMO
RSRDC Patch
OTC 1.5 for RSRDC
Traveller Mod v2.6 TMO
Traveller Mod OTC 1.5 Patch
Traveller Mod OTC 1.5 Automatic Ship ID

No major problems with this setup so far for me. In fact, I just narrowly avoided a career-ending depth charge attack after sneaking in inside a Task Force guarded by swarm of DDs. I didn't notice any missing racks from them (I play with external view enabled).

I just figured it that the problem is the RSRDC mod!

Just tried TMO with RSRDC for TMO and I got this pic... lateral rack is missing....

any idea?
