My fav would be Neustrashimy or Udaloy, to give Red an ASW ship.
Other interesting choices: A NATO diesel boat: like the 212A OneShot mentioned (and the similar 209 and 214), british upholder Victor III: a little dated, a challenging but fun choice to battle a single ffg-escorted convoy in pvp. Sierra / Sierra II: much more capable than victor. Oscar: the SS-N-19's don't really fit in close range "sandbox" games, but scenarios could be built for it. |
