I haven't a clue what's happening next week, let alone in July.

But if you chaps are heading towards London then I might be able to wing something. York is unfortunately not doable, despite it being a lovely place which I do recommend (be sure to check out the railway museum too).

Would be great to meet you in person but if it is eventually going to be York then I'll be in the nearest pub during the train museum visit...been there far too many times in recent years but it is definitely worth a visit.

Where will you be based?

I thought you'd be in the deep south...I'm at the northern tip of England about seventy miles south of the border with the heathens.

Check a map of the UK...I'm for all intents and purposes in Newcastle.

A second trip to the big smoke (London) around then would be a bit difficult, York on the other hand would be ideal. Jamie - If Martin (anyone seen him recently?) or anyone else down that way is coming you could get a lift, accommodation would be sorted one way or another too. Don't rule it out just yet.
