You're a big 'un.

I mean tall.

About every other time I would climb into my 1988 Freightliner COE I would smack my forehead into the junk carrier above the windshield.

I'm all of 5 ft. 7 in if I stand really straight.

My son is 6 ft 1 in. Wife's side of the family. My grandson is 14 and he is already taller than his mom. His Dad is same as you. A big guy.

Dad was 6'1" and Mum was 5"11" both were tall. My G'parents on both sides were short. Paternal G'mother 5'1" G'father 5'6" Maternal G'parents were no taller than 5'6" each.
Dad used to say it was all the horse apples he stood me in. (Apples because I don't want to get brigged for the real word.)

You should have seen the state of him before he found something to sit on

My ex-wife is 5' 10". Her dad was tall. The doctor said my daughters would both be over six feet tall. They didn't make it. They aren't as tall as me.
