Getting back into DW-A question on how to start

Much like the gentleman above, I bought DW ages ago but never really got into the depth (get the pun??...ok, bad, moving on) of the game until recently.

But for the life I me I can't figure out how to delete saved games. I know that sounds crazy (I can't even find the saved files) but can someone help me?

Alright; saved games on my system are in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Sonalysts Combat Simulations\Dangerous Waters\Scenario

I found them by naming a save something that I could search for without getting too many other hits; you may need to do that if you're not running Windows 7 64.

Well, DW and SC wants to try to save files into the scenario folder in the game in Program Files. But ever since Vista came around Windows is much more protective of what happens there. If it detects an application is changing files or adds new ones then it puts them in this virtual store. But at your next reboot this will probably flushed. Certain actions are allowed by an administrator account if it responds in time to the UAC warning. But when the game is full screen you probably do not notice this.

Therefore it is perhaps better to change the default location when installing the game to avoid this cumbersome relocating of savegames. Provide your own folder for it, like c:\games\DangerousWaters, and this problem goes away for good.
