When I hover the mouse over the red cross it says client out of date

I even reinstaled an older minecraft version and it still says the same

I'll just wait for a new server launch

You might need to update the actual minecraft launcher file, up to 1.3.7, and make sure Minecraft itself is running 1.7.4.

I managed to connect just now just fine.

I think I'm missing something, but I just can't remember how to update the launcher.

The vanilla launcher is 1.3.7, but the FTB launcher is still on 1.3.2

I don't think there's been a server up in months, I think Arc hosts ARMA3 stuff now.

Sort of, usage was basically 0 and a patch broke it. Haven't put it back up since, haven't heard any complaints, so...

There's 2 things I'm keeping an eye on at the moment: Space Engineers and Project Zomboid. Both feature multiplayer open-world survival stuff, but in both cases we're talking early access. Functional, but a little wonky in places and not complete. Not much different from when we picked up Minecraft.

Didn't think interest for MC would pick up again anytime soon, so was hoping to run a server for one of those. Not sure there's really much interest for either though.
