As for DW, well its a very good game in singleplayer but it definitely shines in multiplayer. I have been playing DW since april 2005 and believe me when I say that there isn't another game which has a multiplayer component as complex and fun as DW's. In multiplayer you can not only commmand a single platform (between nuclear subs such as the seawolf, los angeles 688, the russian akula, also diesel submarines such as the kilo, or the frigate OPH, or the anti-submarine warfare helicopter mh-60r or the orion p-3 ) but you can decide to have more players on each platform so as to have a real crew manning all the stations. Blue side and Red side can coordinate their efforts and tactics to win the match etc.... Another plus is the mission editor, its very flexible and a lot of interesting single player and multiplayer missions have been created by the community. A long time member of this form (Subguru) has even created a campaign based on Tom Clancy's novel Red Storm Rising. :|\ I ask you, how much better can it get ? ![]() Graphicwise the game is ok, you won't get the shiny graphics of SH III but then its not really important, once you start playing and learning all the units with the pro-cons , the different tactics etc... you will get hooked and play this game for years to come. ![]() |
