Pacific Fleet on Kindle Fire HDX ?

Kindle uses a bastardized version of Android, right? Will PacFleet run on it, and how do I load it on my Kindle?

We're about to release the game through the Amazon App Store and are currently going through the process of supporting Kindles. Hopefully it should run on any Kindle that supports Android 4.0 and above.

I believe Amazon does not allow Kindles to access the Google Play store. Seems they want to keep their app distribution solely through the Amazon store.

That's what I thought, I'm really disappointed with Amazon regarding their direction to handicap the Kindle. Shame, it would have made a great tablet, but as it is, I really can only use it for reading books. Which I could do with a Surface Pro and the free Kindle app...

If you are able to adapt PF to the Kindle, be sure to let us know.

Perhaps you'd be willing to test the build for us? Ready access to kindles is a bit limited for us at the moment.

Yes, I started a new campaign on the kindle as the Japanese. The game plays even better on a 7" screen
