I can't say I am a big fan of these confidentiality clauses.

So the corporation is admitting doing wrong but they don't want anyone to know about it.

They (the compromise agreement) look almost identical to those in the UK...a gagging clause in return for a sum of money and a promise not to pursue any further litigation.
