I expected a much better game from Sweden. In their defense they were missing three good forwards, Henrik Zetterberg, Johan Franzen and Henrik Sedin. Backstrom was a scratch at game time. Kudos to Stevie Yzerman, he took some flak for his player selection, but he is golden now.

On the other hand a Grand Prix champion (which one I don't remember at the moment) once said "Second Place? Third Place? There's the winner and there's everybody else!" Implying that "everybody else" are all losers.

Go easy now kraznyi, I don't think one Canadian here said at the outcome we were going to win. That one goes to yourself. Let's just say we both love our hockey and our country and leave it at that. There will be lot's more games to be played in the future.
