Ishockey:

Dowly and other finns shouldn't hate us the swede, because we won, they should hate their own player and the trainer, it's their fault .

Even though I believe in Sweden, I think they are going to lose tomorrow. It's not going to be a huge victory for Canada. Guess it will be 2:1 or 3:1 in Canada's favour

The Swedes are not happy regarding the selection of judges. Three of the four judges are from Canada.

But as a Swedish commentator said they are highly professional and Sweden should not be afraid that these Judges would make any benefits to the Canadians.

I agree, I don't think the ref selection ( if anything they will be overly cautious ) will make a difference, the teams will decide the outcome. So far I have not noticed much regarding the refereeing in games that I have watched ( men or women's ), and that's a good thing

A quote from one of the officials:

“The main factor of the selection of these officials has most of all to do with their experience officiating in high-level competitions,” IIHF officiating manager Konstantin Komissarov said Saturday in a release. “These include Stanley Cup playoffs, world championship competitions and Olympic competitions.”

That's the reason to why they have been chosen.

The last thing I would want as a Canadian is to win ( or lose ) the game on a controversial call

Canada will pretty much shut down tomorrow for this, I am sure the same can be said over there Markus

Nice thing is the game is on early here, 8:00am, two of my boys play ( Minor Hockey ) later in the day so I will not miss any of it.

2 gold (both to Tina Maze), two silver and 4 bronze medals.
With Žan Koširs silver medal today it ends Slovenias involvement in this Olympics. We have no more athletes in the game.

It makes Slovenia second per medal and gold medal count per capita and first per GDP

The ishockey final in a Olympic is very special and it's only every 4 years it happens.

Yes tomorrow at 1 pm, everything is almost shut down in Sweden. Well it happens almost every time Sweden play in a tournament such as World cup or the Olympics. The same happened when Ingmar Stenmark was rushing down in slalom in the 80'ies.

So, if I have it figured out right, correct me if I am mistaken. IF Sweden wins they get the gold, Canada gets the Bronze, Finland gets the Silver and the US public gets to make more rude and crude tweets about Canada. Is that about right?

Found the link I was looking for. IF you don't like looking at profanities, then don't click on the link.

She's a primadona, one of those people you wouldn't want to find yourselves sitting at the same table.
Not Justin Bieber level of, but still not a pleasant experience.

Incorrect. Loser of today's game gets Silver (that is ofcourse Canada) and winner gets Gold (Sweden naturally). As usual losers of semifinals fought about Bronze yesterday and as we now know it ended into Finland crushing USA (5-0: 0-0, 2-0, 3-0).

Sweden is gonna be one tough team to beat. May the best team win!
