I just saw Lone Survivor tonight.
IMHO, it's very very good and a must see. There were some things cut out and changed but that's understandable. I highly recommend reading the book. RIP to all the people who died in Operation Red Wings... Also, Marcus himself even makes a couple appearances in the movie. What I wouldn't give to shake his hand....

Saw American Hustle.
Great movie. If you can follow it (I had no trouble), you can like it.

We're the Millers.
Pretty funny movie. I like Jason Sudeikis. I recommend renting it but not buying it.

Whilst looking at articles on the new movie 'The Monuments Men' I came across this:

I think The Human Centipede is quite possibly one of the most disturbing movies of all time.

Then you've not heard of 'A Serbian Film'. I've only read about it on Wikipedia and Imdb and that was more than enough...

- First, this unit really existed .. - Second, the Nazis DID loot art of all kind, to be exhibited in the city of "Germania", after a war that Hitler won.. - Third, the "Nazis" (b.t.w. who IS a Nazi by Definition?) tried to make sure that pictures and all kind of art was not destroyed, during bomb raids. - Fourth, I wonder, where some of this found artwork (by this unit) made its way, after WW2. And, this is because of: - Fifth, i saw several documentaries about similar US units during the Iraq war, that made me question this holy (*ahem*) task of those "monument men". 'Disgusted' does not quite describe what was shown there, those surely very 'special units' plundered museums and memorial places following a well laid-out plan, stealing so much works of culture of a civilization beginning 4500 years bevor Christ, that it made that war look worthwhile, just for that. Where did all this stuff go ? Clearly, it is not in Iraq any more.. Will watch the film, but the idea alone of seeing di Caprio as a WW2 soldier Well, i saw him as Hughes in 'The Aviator' and he was great, but Americans as the saviours of culture, is hard to swallow sometimes... . . . EDIT: Ah....maybe not actually. I like watching "shock" movies just for giggles...but this one just crosses the line.

Guy who laughed at The Human Centipede while criticizing it goes off the deep end reviewing A Serbian Film: http://blip.tv/phelous/a-serbian-film-5275180 WTF were the filmmakers thinking?! EDIT: And yeah, that is a German helmet in the background of the second review. EDIT 2: If you want to watch another shock film, try out Cannibal Holocaust. Just be warned that while the actors weren't actually killed, the animals in it were.
