I installed SH3 with a bunch of mods on a USB drive. I was running it but noticed that it had some annoying hesitations (it didn't have these before when I ran on the C: drive).
I'm wondering can I just move the entire SH3 folder to the C: drive and run it or will I have problems? Should I just re-install everything? (I noticed in my SH3 commander ini file I had to change the path to C: drive but that's all I did for now). I use GWX plus a few other mods Jeff |

Yes, you can move the entire install folder to the C: drive. Just to be safe, I would copy it, rather than moving. Then, after you are sure everything is working, you can uninstall it from the USB drive. There is, AFAIK, nothing in the registry critical to SH3 execution. You will have to redirect Commander, as you said, and you will not be able to uninstall the C: drive folder. Just delete it to remove it.

And do not forget to use MultiSH3 for the new copy to save your games properly.

The savegames should be stored into the SH3 folder in his (My) Documents folder part of his user account. This should not end up on the USB disk in any way.
