Default Need some mod suggestions!

I've been an avid GWX3 player for quite some time. However I feel it's time for a bit of a flavor change. I like realism, but most of all I like the immersion factor and the eye candy where appropriate (I don't care about a detailed farm on a port hillside, but rather battle damage and ship eye candy, etc).

I had been playing NYGM for a bit, but I noticed that the sounds were inconsistent, and some sounds would play late, for the wrong thing, or not at all.

The biggest thing I noticed was the inconsistent engine sounds and crew responses. I'm pretty sure my files were not corrupted, as I have top end connection precisely to avoid this type of thing. I followed the installation to a tee, yet still I'm struggling with it.

I would like a mod that has the internal sounds of crew and general U boat ambiance. I like the soft ring ring feature of the telegraph wheel, and when the crew echo commands throughout the sub. I like sounds for E-Surface/Crash Dive, and all the other little tidbits that allow for max immersion.

I just want the most out of the experience. Realistic sinking times and damage, realistic torp functionality, realistic destroyer responses, etc. Basically I want to be as close as possible to accuracy in every aspect. Please offer some suggestions, I'm all ears!

Surface engine start up is an ok mod. You hear the diesels switch on after surfacing. I have used thompsons sounds in the past, aswell as tikigod's sound pack. They are both quite good. The second one has the sounds for the telegraph too.

Thanks JReid, could you send me those links please? Are they JSGME ready or do I need to do some drag n' drop work?
