Go to the ubisoft website and look for game patches. Download it that way and execute the patch that way.

For anyone having the problem described in the op:
(I think it will happen if you install the game to a directory other than the default one) Go to the gu.exe (Support/GameUpdater/gu.exe) Run it. Although it says it has updated, it actually hasn´t, but the updater is kept in users/yourname/AppData/Local/temp/ubi58AD.tmp Run it. Now the game properly updates to v1.2 |
