Im going to try another mod to see if the loader will do that one.

its cool if i throw in some graphics mods right? No Biggie?? Can i add the aces of deep sidebar and stuff? Just minor stuff, navmap enhancements and what not.

Ok, I guess I'm a dolt. I don't see this on page 15. It just makes mention of what should be unchecked in sh3 commander. I did read it beforehand too. I went ahead and used standard sh3 so I don't know if that is right or not. Does it matter?
Unchecked simply means you shouldn't use any of the SH3 Commander fatigue models and the option should be unchecked as an option in SH3 Commander. The necessary fatigue model and other components are included in the TW basic.cfg and other files.

Just to expand on this a bit more. SH3 Commander uses several pre-configured files to selectively replace entries in the basic.cfg. When the "Use fatigue model" option is checked, you will replace the entries in the TW basic.cfg and the fatigue model will not work as intended. That is why this option in SH3 Commander must be unchecked. You shouldn't be using this feature of SH3 Commander with TW. It's not necessary, and can result in unexpected behavior.

Should be. I'd install with JSGME just to be sure (that way you can remove it later if you have problems), but as long as you don't change major files like the menu_1024_768.ini all should be well.

OMG WOW LOOK HOW EFFICIENT MY CREW IS!!!!

Now i know this is a product of the NYGM Tonnage Mod, i have never got a message like this before..

Is that right?? Cant be... Please help me change this quick..

::edited:: OOps wait.. I have the atmosphereic mod 16kms version Dark installed... But i dont remember the numbers being so high before..

Well, to continue with my tiraid, I ended up manually loading the DAT files from both TW and TW Trees straight into the SHIII directory.

Everything runs but now I have that damn 'triangle' and exterior camera. I am running everything as realistic except for officer help. Could this becausing the triangle and TDC info to show when I point the scope at a ship?

Thanks for the feedback.

We have never had any install issues, but I always delete the entire directory, and copy the 'clean' SHIII 1.4b then install my the NYGM Mods.

While SHIII Cmdr is a great program, I feel that after a lot of in/out of various mods that players should start fresh.

That means that you have Auto TDC enabled and external view on.

Now, if I remember correctly, a saved career can keep some of the saved realism setting, so start a new career and ensure the realism settings.

Something wierd is going on for me after installing this: I keep getting "Menu ID not found" error messages when I attempt to load a mission. Anyone else experiencing this?

That is a menu_1024_768.ini error.

I am presuming that you have other mods installed and when the menu_1024_768.ini in the NYGM TW Mod was 'installed' the other mod is the caused this error message.

So you will need to check what Mod it is and edit the menu_1024_768.ini for that mod.

Is it correct that no map contacts at all show up? Radio contacts are text messages only but not entered in the map?
If yes, how can I get at least radio contacts back?

Otherwise, thumbs up for Tonnage war.
I'm still in my first med patrol (ever, I think, or at least until finding the med boring in SH3 1.0) and loving it!
U-328 had two contacts with single merchants, both escorted by one or two destroyers. First one was a tramp which I sank in a dawn surface attack with two ATOs and got some working over by the DDs for it. DCs damaged me at 150 meters (minor flooding only fortunately)!
Second was a liberty escorted by a single Hunt DD, which took a prolonged surface chase, a submerged attack which was noticed by the escort yet I still hit the Liberty with a 2 ETO fan. It was only damaged and what followed was a six hour cat and mouse to get at the damaged freighter, which I finally sank after wasting four torps at it (3 duds or misses).
Over twelve hours submerged, battery at 25%, but fortunately only slight damage.
I still got 5 Torps left and closing on Alexandria. Maybe I can get a cruiser

yep the menu was the problem.
I had too many mod going on.
after a clean install all is far out :|\
oh i did have to seperate the optional folders tho.
I really like this mod so far. Restarted the"Happy Times"

Not a criticism but how do i get the dark night sky back again . With NYGM tonnage mod its an aweful led pencil grey . I have a darkened room so the dark sky is not an issue for me .

EDITED TO ADD THIS
Can i install this via jsgme too give me the dark sky at night

Damn it ... this mod is working perfectly!

The stopwatch in the dials I might add is a nice solution to the flipping back and forth .... I like that a great deal.

I have managed to modify the menu to incorporate the Navmaps and such from HT 1.47 and my custom OBS but am a little leary about trying to make Integrated Orders work. Any chance you will add that in a future release?

That is the only thing that this mod is lacking imo. What it brings to the table is simply amazing. Thanks for your hard work.

Sidenote....

I installed the Atmosphere 2.0 Mod (Rub 1.44-Rub 1.45 fix) over the top of this and it removed the banding at the horizon line. Now it is flawless. I can spot ships on a clear day with 5mps at 15000km now. Just a heads up as you may want to look at using those env elements. (I have my own sensors fix for the rwr which I place over that to get that aspect of it back from the tonnage mod)
