Default A couple of mod questions

I have SH4 fresh install with the 1.5 added then these mods:
TMO 2.5
RSRD
Patch

Changing this question because I think I was able to understand and appreciate the spirit of TMO and RSRD.

The only question I have left is can I reduce the armor of the AI planes and/or make my AA gunners more accurate?
I realize I shouldn't be fighting aircraft, but I have plane after plane swooping over me and have yet to get a kill, either myself or my gunner. I tried to pick the best rated gunner..

Today A FLAMING KATE came in to strafe.. I thought maybe we hit him? But I think not, he was like this from a distance.. so I expected this plane to crash into the water.. he looked like a Kamakazee.. but NOPE.. he proceeded to strafe, loop, strafe, loop, etc.. over and over again, ALL WHILE FLAMING AND SMOKING LIKE CRAZY LOL...

I realize this was probably some stock bug in the game but I would just like to tone it all down a bit.

Is this possible? Any quick changes to either the aircraft or even the ships to give me a fighting chance? I'm NOT good.. yes I want some realism.. but too much is just too much for me.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Jeff
