There is a sort of symmetry to leaving out Pearl Harbor The two big flashes that herald the end of the war aren't simulated either.

Most of the big carrier clashes are covered. Coral Sea, Midway, Philippine Sea, etc. Most of the Tokyo Express battles in the Solomons take place at the appointed dates. I've always wondered if the sinking of the British battleships Prince of Wales and Repulse by Japanese G3M Nells on December 10th, 1941, is included but I've never got down off the coast of Malaya to find out.

The Prince of Wales and Repulse are in RSRD, they are attacked by a large wave of bombers from Indochina.Only way to see it is to use the pre pearl harbor mod, only way can get there in time to witness it.Thing is I had to edit it because there not enough torpedo armed Bettys(filling in for the Nells).Witnessed it three times, once the sunk both, other time sunk the Prince of Wales and Repulse was left dead in water. The first time before I edited the attack, they just caused damage so most had bombs only.

If you start at Manila and hurry, you can catch the Pearl Harbor attack force returning through the Bungo...You do have time to get back to Manila if you flank after the attack.
