Is it for sure version fully compatible with GWX3? I'm thinking about .dat files which are different in GWX 1.03 and 3.0.

In regard to your question, I'm not sure mate. This file dates from 2007 if that helps at all. Perhaps Jim might clear things up a bit.

Mmm... this wend I've tried -GWX Combined Skin Pack- (activated by JSGME over SH3Commander) with my GWX 3.0 Gold installation.

I've tried it both with an alredy existing Kaleun ready to take again the sea from Kiel and with a shiny new career. In both cases I've experienced CTD after only 20-30 in-game hours, mmm...

To tell the whole story, this wend I also activeted some others unrelated mods: -Asssited Plotting Mod- and New Hydrophones Layers- plus -WB's Mid Patrol Radio Orders- (the last one is activeted in by JSGME over SH3C).

But then, after I experienced the CTDs, I deactiveted only -GWX Combined Skin Pack-, started with another fresh new career, and everything was fine. So, for me, the culprit is the -GWX Combined Skin Pack- which I'd like very much to use...

And now the million dollar question:
> If I remove all the *.dat files inside the Mod and only keep the *.tga files and then installed it on SH3C could I expect my experienced CTD to cease?

Honestly, I have no idea. But if you try it, and make sure you first back up all your files, absolutely nothing bad will happen. And you just may solve your problem. It's not working for you now, so I'd say it's worth trying.
