The trouble is there's that many ships to scroll through in the rec manual now, it's a pain. The rec manual needs replacing by a better system.
I've been pondering how to do it. Been looking into how the torpedo selection works and there might be a way to use those commands in making a new rec manual. Searching would be easier if we could split up the ships into classes, like Tanker, 2 Funnel etc. Then put 6 sils per page. Would mean having new sils for each ship and I don't know what this will entail in memory usage.

Your idea is a nice one and it could be done. Here is what it could look like:



It would take a lot menu_1072_768.ini editing and some thinking on how to make a version that would work with the most popular GUI's and add-on ship packs like MFM and WB's ship pack.
