Default Long time no play

I am happy to say after a long break I am back in the Atlantic, I also down loaded this mod pack which looks pretty awesome. However what order do I use to enable them. I tried sober MEP but that fails due to many missing mods, Halp!!

I also found that pack has some mods missing. Therefore, I had to download missing packs manually.

I encountered another problem. Hydrophone working at surface.

SOLVED

I've installed R.E.M_by_Xrundel_TheBeast_1.2 - no hyd on surface - NewUIs-IRAI compatible mod and now hydrophone works perfectly.

I downloaded both of the megamods for sh5. I was really hoping for an easy way to mod SH5 without having to shuffle mods around. Unfortunately neither mod archive included a .mep file, which would have been amazing.

take a look at sober mod list there is a .mep file and and in my mod list there is another .mep file click...

My mod list is with MagUI Interface

Both your and sobers list dont seem to be made for your mod list Sjizzle. In the JGME, loading either profiles (with the mega mod pack) brings up the error window with about 20 mods missing.

I'm just now getting into SH5 and I must say the mod list posted earlier is intimidating. The last time I played was SH# Grey Wolves. Now I see there is a 50 and 100 mega-mod download. I'm more of a casual player that enjoys eye candy. I have no desire to perform plotting for torp solutions and I want to keep my exterior view. The one time I tried this when it fo=irst came out I was disappointed when I could never hit a ship unless I was exactly at 90 degrees, has that been fixed? Or was I doing something wrong, I treated it exactly like SH3, locked on where I wanted the fish to go and fired when they were less then 600 meters. Also, is there an option to lock the view on your boat when you do the external view? I hated chasing my boat with the camera to try and enjoy the view of cruising along.

You dont have to go whole hog .. Its actually better that you dont until you see how your system takes to everything ..

You will instant CTD(At least I do ) if you mess with the guy in base who upgrades your sub at very beginning of game if you skip tutorial which you should .. ... CTD Specifically when you close the sub upgrade panel .. No reason to even talk to him tho as first mission your sub is already ready to go .. Doesnt seem to be an issue later on but im playing thru with it now and i may run into something .. Pretty basic tho, so i expect its stable enough ..

If you do run into trouble with it ..Remove

Ive just got them tacked on the end there and they might cause an issue But they are good mods each one adds a specific thing so dont just discount them either they are part of the vision .. I removed them because of earlier crash i mentioned and just tacked them back on after i realised they werent the problem , they arent in conflict where they are(pretty sure ) .. But they arent placed exacly where i want them either and too lazy to reorganise it just now .. ,Besides , Its working pretty well so far ..

You can take IRAI by the Darkwraith out if you want an easier game also ..
I love the mod personally but when you install it suddenly enemy start acting like enemy , Like for real ,, they hate you , and want to kill you , Airplanes particularly become a problem ..and they should be .. But Its your choice .

You should at least glance at Dyn env thread because there is too much there for me to say . The way i have it set up in this list is Not how i will ultimately have it .. But its just an example and it does work and its impressive .. Its a bit dark at night so be warned ..

Its a very trans-formative list all in all .Everything will be changed ,From the sub to the crew, to the weather ,to the campaign , Nothing untouched and we are working with only around 10 main mods and the submods that can be used with them .Mix and match , Read the forums .

Also .. Find some radio mods .. Great for immersion .. GL
