Croatian Istra was Italy between WW1 and WW2, so Rovinj was in Italy in 1944, not occupied Yugoslavia.
But in the movie, is it supposed to be Italy as part of the boot or the other Adriatic provinces like Istra ![]() Most beautiful of the Adriatic towns by far ![]() |

I would of watched "Emperor" if it wasn't for the fact that I despise "Dugout Doug". As for "Red Tails", yeah its right up there with U-571. Like Bubbles said, the HBO movie "The Tuskegee Airmen" is by far much a much better account of the 332nd Fighter Group.
