Hi all!

I'm a Dangerous Waters player who recently became hooked on SHIII. Fun as hell!!!

I have a question though... I'm playing with the realism patch on and I keep getting a announcement from my radioman "new radio message received."

Great... WHAT IS THE MESSAGE? Where do I go? Huh???

Help out a newbie will ya!

Thank you!!!!

What are the messages anyway? I had a rather successful first patrol... nothing encountered in my patrol box but on the way I sank a massive cargo ship (I want to say Liberty class... but it was bigger) off the coast of Scotland. On the way home some destroyers gave me trouble butto my amazement I blew one of them out of the water with two torps! I was completely overjoyed! I woke the neighborhood with my hoots and hollars when that happened.
le
Any by the way... Nice phonograph on our first patrol... but it only plays ONE SONG? WTF?!!! DROVE ME NUTS!

Hey... is is possible to kill seagulls with the flak gun and does it improve crew morale?

Click on the message title to open it and read it.

Most of the messages are real ones from the war. They really have no bearing on the game, just make it feel more real.

The gramaphone only comes with one song. there are many places you can download more-hundreds more.
