There is a place in France where enthusiastic archeologists since years build a medieval castle and surrounding village - with nothing more than bare hands, tools and manufacturing methods as they were known and used in the medieval. I forgot the name, but Several years ago I had linked to it already in a thread.
Maybe somebody knows the place I mean or remembers that thread, and re-link it, forum search, like so often, fails me again. Would like to know how far they got by now, its been some years since I checked their project last time. It was pretty mighty much impressive!
Skybird,
I think this is the place you mean. An amazing project using original techniques.
