Do you have a best friend?

I had best friend. We met when I was in third grade in our small village school. He was then in fifth grade but as our school was so small that we all spent time together at breaks. We stayed in regular contact ever since. He died unexpectedly at May Day this year.

It feels quite strange when you suddenly do not have that most trusted person you can talk freely with about difficult matters in your life without worrying whether or not they stay confidential.
