Yup, that AK-47 or SKS round to the back of the head is swift and leaves the rest intact for harvesting. Next of kin cannot recover the remains as they are property of the state. There was a big article on this in some magazine (I'll re-research this)a few years back involving the profit margins and the subsequent tendancy toward the death penalty in the the highest death penalty country in the world... except for Texas of course.
