Go to your SH5 exe icon that you start the game with . Right click / Properties/ Compatability . Run for windows 7 . Run as administrator .

How long is your patrol before the ctd happens.
The longer the patrol - the larger the save file. When you run out of torps - end patrol rather than refit. This will keep the patrol save file smaller and less glitchy ![]() |

Ahh, I didn't know that, thanks for the advice. I've been refitting in excess of 6-10 times on a patrol.
