It was a T2 tanker with a midships wheelhouse structure, so technically it was on the main deck forward of the midships wheelhouse, between it and the bow. As I remember seeing the ship(I saw the actual ship in 1970), there was no raised Forecastle bow. The deck was flush all the way forward, so by my father's thinking, that made it the Focs'le.
