It's cool at least I know what it looks like now, that was the first time I'd seen a cruiser.

There are two basic types. The Dido and the three stack Kent. Ignore the ship recog draft info and set for three meter on Dido; never waste more than 1 eel on those. Kents on the other hand can take a deeper running eel but ,while totally afire, require another eel to finish. This is critical later in the campaign especially in the south Atlantic where cruisers are the objective but time, fuel and eels are scarce and Dakar is the closest refit on the African coast to target rich Freetown (the Winston Express) or the mid Atlantic islands where the cruisers lurk in squadrons. It is possible to get to Capetown by meticulously diving and running surfaced to recharge on speed 2 but the air cover is murder and the return to Dakar is very tight. Viel gluck kaleun
