Perhaps this is a good reason to apply for a permit. One good purpose of a permit is that it lets the right people know what is going on.
What a bunch of maroons. ![]()

Really.
![]() Many years ago our old tourist steam train, the "Heber Creeper" was forced to an emergency stop by an idiot lying on the ties with a video camera in his hands. "I just wanted to get a shot like you see in the movies. You know, the one where the train rolls over the camera?" I just finished watching a bunch of extra goodies from a movie, showing how streets are blocked off for chase and action scenes, so nobody gets hurt and nobody has any doubts what's going on. Of course permits are applied for and money spent. Some people need to learn how to do what they want to do before actually trying it.

The moral being....notify the necessary authorities and get a permit.
Quite simple really. |
