It's always with me.
Work, coffee, hills... Don't turn it off in the night, don't put it on that ''special pile'' in the middle of the table when I'm in a company.
But I don't loose sleep over it and I don't feel anxiety when someone calls or sends me a text. It's a tool, not an organ

This, besides, due to the nature of my work I can't turn off my phone when I'm asleep.

I was once asked to put the phone on a pile in the middle of table.
The first one to reach for it pays the bill.
My response was: lets play a better game. Don't bore with useless trivia so I don't have the urge to reach for my phone.
I left at that moment, too many eyebrows were raised

Enslaved to my phone? Absolutely not. I hardly get any calls and when I do, most of the time it's to arrange a meeting. Texts I get even less, and no notifications from the whole social media BS. Also I don't feel the urge to comment on everything that's posted on FB, so even if I have my internet or Wi-Fi switched on, the notifications I get are mostly put straight to the bin.

Enslaved, honestly yes.

I listen to podcasts at work on it, Opie and Anthony in the morning on it, Howard Stern replays on the same service in the afterbnoon.

It replaced my tv and car stereo, xm/sirius is a great service.

All beamed to my samsung galaxy on free cable company wifi, in many locations.
