Wow...feels like I've been away for years. Is any digital download considered a 'Steam' version of the game? I was going to buy the download version. would I be better off with the CD?

No.. steam is steam.. any other downloadable version is as a regular version (CD/DVD disk)..

Looks like they've got you covered as far as Amazon goes. Actually if you buy anything at all through that link Subsim gets a cut.

Hi Steve, great to see that you're still here. This is an awesome community. Hey, you'll know the answer to this...are there any advantages to the download version of SH5 versus the DVD version of the game or vice versa? I intend to download the game from Amazon tonight using the Subsim link so that the forum gets a cut.
