Interestingly, I consider it just on the contrary. As I play DiD, the very most important objective for me is to bring all of my crew alive and my boat back to base in one piece. I don't hold myself a coward but I think it's sometimes wiser to "live today and fight tomorrow" since there will always be a next convoy somewhere out in the ocean.
