Glad to help, although my recommendation would have been to use Amazon and get a brand new copy for $10 or less.

new copy
It was a new retail US version copy.Never been opened.Got it for ten dollars.Would have went to amazon to help out subsim but due to my oversight(old age) I did not think about it at the time. The guy on Ebay must have got a a lot of copies because He had sold many of them.I was very surprised when I found it had starforce.I think only the first years run of dvd's had starforce back in 05,06.Correct me if I am wrong.I found my first copy back in late 09 at disk replay for five bucks and it was patched to the latest version.Anyways have a good day and thanks for your help.

If you have a copy labelled 2008 or newer it won't have StarForce. That's how you tell. If your copy is newer and your computer says it has StarForce then it might be left over from the original copy. I found that out the hard way. Removing SH3 from a computer does not remove StarForce.
