prepaid card - all in all about 30 bucks a month for texting and about 5-8 minutes of conversations every month.
minimal samsung folding phone: phone, sms.
not even a radio or a camera or SD card slot.

working in IT, you are connected enough.

5 years ago , people got connected and thought it was cool to be online, have your stuff online, wherever you go, whatever you do, as long as you get internet.

It's always with me.
Work, coffee, hills... Don't turn it off in the night, don't put it on that ''special pile'' in the middle of the table when I'm in a company.
But I don't loose sleep over it and I don't feel anxiety when someone calls or sends me a text. It's a tool, not an organ

This, besides, due to the nature of my work I can't turn off my phone when I'm asleep.

I was once asked to put the phone on a pile in the middle of table.
The first one to reach for it pays the bill.
My response was: lets play a better game. Don't bore with useless trivia so I don't have the urge to reach for my phone.
I left at that moment, too many eyebrows were raised
